Toddler Childcare

Pre-Kindergarten Childcare

Our pre-kindergarten daycare program is designed to provide a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners. We focus on fostering creativity, social skills, and early academic development by integrating Language, Math and Science into their daily activities. Our Curriculum
Our program implements Flight-Alberta's Early Learning and Childcare Framework which follows Emergent Curriculum that embraces the concept of child-led learning. The educators follow the children's lead and plan possibilities rather than designing predetermined plans. We also follow Reggio Emilia approach where the children are actively involved in their process of learning by constructing their knowledge based on their direct experiences and interactions with the environment.​

Our program also aims to provide a wide variety of learning opportunities that encourage self-expression, curiosity, reasoning, communication, logical thinking, and problem-solving. We are also focused on providing age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate activities while allowing flexibility to cater children's changing needs and interests. Moreover, as we take into consideration that children have multiple ways of discovering and learning, we also strive to balance our program with both child-directed and teacher-directed activities to enable the children to experience different facets of learning. Educators focus on promoting well-rounded growth, offering activities that encourage motor development, language skills, cognitive skills, social and emotional well-being.
We highly recognize Friedrich Froebel’s philosophy that children construct their understanding of the world through direct experience with it, thus we also aim to provide rich play-based experiences that support children in discovering specific concepts both indoors and outdoors.
